NEW APPLIANCE:

May 2008 and the Lincoln Brigade receives it's latest replacement vehicle. A new Iveco EuroCargo ML120E25 will now take over the first response duties as Lincoln 41-7 replacing our 1989 Hino which has served the district extremely well.

The 2008 Iveco Type2 appliance incorporates all the latest technology in vehicle safety features and is powered by an environmentally friendly Euro lV design diesel engine which is very appropriate for the Lincoln Envirotown status. This is the first new appliance in the South Island to display the new Fire Service corporate standard in fire appliance design which now includes more highly visible colours.(more on vehicles page).
